In a business, it is typically said that it’s better to have “some work” than having no work at all. There’s also a common adage saying that no money is worse than just having a little bit of money when closing a deal. It is pretty common in the recruitment industry.
But is it true that having any money is best than having no money at all or some work is better than having no work at all?
Well, it turns out that this isn’t always the case.
If you’re in the business for long period of time and has handled so many negotiations, observed several mediations and come to settlement agreements, then you’ll come to realize that there’s nothing better than closing a deal that you’re not happy with. Let me give you an example.
Good Luck with that
Probably, you’ve encountered “tire kickers”. These are basically people who compare prices. They do come to a point in which they’re sometimes annoying for trying to push you to divulge as much information as you could from them. The irony, after assisting and sharing everything they’ve asked from you, they will not come to a deal or anything.
When you feel such thing, just don’t waste your time and energy. You won’t come to any agreement.
